It is very important for us to protect your privacy. In the following we will inform you in detail about how we are handling your data.

I. Collecting, processing and using personal data information

Personally identifying data will be gathered by us in the cases described below:
In order to be able to display the contents that are suitable for your country, we identify your IP address using geo-localization. The address is abbreviated by deleting the last three digits and will thus be anonymized to comply with data protection.

For processing an order, the customer‘s IDEA License Key, the computer name and the IDEA information (language used, character set, system architecture and license type, number of licenses) will be automatically transferred to Audicon and saved in the user account. In addition, conclusions may be drawn regarding the IDEA distributor acting. The information will be used to encode the apps specifically for the customer.

For recurring payments by credit card, we will save the encoded credit card number received from PAYONE GmbH & Co. KG (xxxxxx1234), the so-called pseudocardpans, and the expiry date of your credit card.

The following set of data may be stored for the purpose of subscribing to the Newsletter, for individual customer care, getting into contact with Audicon, participating in competitions, for systems security and during the creation of an account:


  • Name of domain and IP address of the enquiring computer
  • Customer master data (name, first name, invoice and delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, customer number, payment and control data)
  • Names of the files retrieved
  • Date and time of their retrieval
  • Size of data transferred during the connection
  • Name of your internet service provider
  • Website from which the connection is established

We will not use your data for the purposes of advertising, market research or public opinion research without your approval. You may at any time access, modify or delete your data stored in “My account“. In order to prevent the storing of your data, you only need to raise an objection with Audicon GmbH. Additionally, we reserve the right to disclose your data to the producer of the apps and to IDEA distributors for the purpose of customer care.

II. Right of access

According to the Federal Data Protection Act, you are entitled to being provided with information about your data stored, as well as to correction, blocking or deletion of such data where required.

III. E-mail advertising

During registration you may subscribe to the Marketplace Newsletter. You will receive an e-mail containing a link which you have to activate before you can receive the Newsletter. The Newsletter of Marketplace will provide information about offers and actions as well as news or updates for the apps.

We offer you two types of our Newsletter, the general Newsletter as well as the personalized Newsletter. 

In contrast to the general Newsletter, the personalized type will provide you with individualized information and with offers tailored to your preferences. Thus you will only get the information that is of interest to you. To enable the personalized Newsletter, you have to give your prior consent to the personalized evaluation of your data by Audicon. When registering for the Newsletter, Audicon will use your e-mail address for e-mail advertising (product and service information, offers, promotion by e-mail) until you unsubscribe from the Newsletter.

Your subscription may be cancelled at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs in accordance with the basic tariffs of your access provider.

Furthermore, please note that we evaluate the anonymized click behaviour within the context of the Newsletter dispatch, using the software ‘Inxmail Professional’ of Inxmail GmbH, Wentzingerstr. 17, 79106 Freiburg (number of users, opening rate, click rate, unsubscribe rate, unambiguous clicks). In case you gave your consent to the personalized data collection, we can determine the above-mentioned data on a person-specific basis.


IV. Use of cookies

We will use session cookies in the Marketplace. Cookies are small files which are stored on your data media and which are used to save certain settings and data for an exchange with our system via your internet browser. This stored information helps us to adapt our website to your requirements and makes your access more comfortable, for example by saving your input information so that you do not have to repeat it for every access. Your internet browser will allow you to make restrictive adjustments for the use of cookies, with the drawback that certain features of our website may not function any more or only to a limited extent. Cookies may also be deleted there. Session cookies will be deleted after your internet browser has been closed.


V. Data security

During the ordering process your payment data will be encoded before being transmitted via the internet. We secure the Marketplace and any other system by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, alteration and distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. All data will be transmitted using a so-called SSL-256 bit encoding (SSL = Secure Socket Layer).
You should always treat your access information as confidential and close the internet browser window when finishing your communication with us, in particular when you share the computer with other persons.


VI. Credit assessment and scoring

In the event that we make advance deliveries or payments, e.g. for orders paid by invoice, we may request a credit ranting information from SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden or PAYONE GmbH & Co. KG, Fraunhoferstraße 2-4, 24118 Kiel, on the basis of mathematical-statistical processes for safeguarding our justified interests. For this purpose, we will provide SCHUFA Holding AG and PAYONE GmbH & Co. KG with the personally identifying information required for such credit assessment while using the received information about the statistical probability of a payment default for a balanced decision on the creation, performance or termination of the contractual relationship.
The credit rating information may contain probability values (score values) which are calculated on the basis of scientifically acknowledged mathematical-statistical procedures and their calculation incorporates, among other things, address data. Your interests worth of protection will be taken into account in accordance with the legal regulations.


VII. Webtracking tools

This website is used to collect and save information for marketing and optimization purposes, applying technologies of etracker GmbH, Erste Brunnenstraße 1, 20459 Hamburg. Based on this information, user profiles may be created under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for that purpose. Cookies are small text files which are stored locally in the buffer memory of the website visitor’s internet browser. The cookies enable the recognition of the internet browser. The data collected by etracker technologies will not be used, without the explicit consent of the person concerned, to personally identify the visitor of the Marketplace, and they will not be associated with personally-identifying information about the person behind the pseudonym. Objection against the collection and storage of data may be raised at any time to become effective for the future.

Additionally, we will be using Google Analytics, a web analyzing service provided by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called ”cookies“, text files which are stored on your computer and permit an analysis of your use of the Marketplace. As a rule the information generated by the cookie about your use will be transmitted and stored to a server of Google in the USA.
The IP anonymization is activated in the Marketplace. Therefore your IP address will be previously truncated by Google in member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Convention on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. In behalf of Audicon, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the Marketplace, to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website operator with other services in relation to website use and internet use.
The IP address transmitted from your internet browser by Google Analytics will not be associated with other data of Google. You can prevent the storing of cookies by setting your internet browser accordingly. Please note, however, that you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website as a consequence.


VIII. Social networks

Social plug-ins from social networks may be used via the „Like“ buttons of the provider “Facebook“ whose web presence at is provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. When you visit one of the Marketplace websites containing a plug-in, your internet browser will connect to the servers of Facebook and the information about your visit to this website will be passed on to Facebook even if you are not logged into Facebook and whether or not you activate the plug-ins, i.e. click them.
If you are logged into Facebook during your visit to the Marketplace via your user account, Facebook is able to assign your website access to your user account. When you click the “Like” button, this will be reported to and saved by Facebook, especially to share your “Like” information with your Facebook friends.
